FC Twente and Ajax maintained their unbeaten start to the Dutch league by drawing 2-2 on Saturday.
Denny Landzaat played in Theo Janssen for Twente's opening goal in the 11th minute but Ajax equalized when Mounir El Hamdaoui scored off a rebound, four minutes later. Janssen put Twente ahead again in the 62nd, but midfielder Eyong Enoh scored to earn Ajax a point.
Also, Gonzalo Garcia scored two minutes from time to help FC Groningen earn a 1-1 draw against PSV Eindhoven and move into second place. Ola Toivonen put PSV ahead in the 63rd. PSV and Groningen have yet to lose this season.
Rasmus Elm's 43rd-minute free kick helped AZ Alkmaar to a 1-0 win over FC Utrecht, which hosts Liverpool in the Europa League on Thursday.
Dmitri Boelykin scored twice and Lex Immers had another as ADO The Hague edged Heracles Almelo 3-2. Glynor Plet and Everton replied for Heracles.
Bas Dost scored two in SC Heerenveen's 2-2 draw against Roda JC. Mads Junker and Arnaud Sutchuin Djoum were on target for Roda JC.
