PSV Eindhoven cemented its place at the top of the Dutch league with a 0-0 draw against Ajax after nearest challenger FC Twente lost 2-1 at AZ Alkmaaar Sunday.

Erik Falkenburg's injury-time goal denied Twente a point leaving the defending champion three points adrift of PSV with nine games remaining.

Theo Janssen scored an own-goal in the 26th to put AZ ahead but Luuk de Jong equalized in the 89th before Falkenburg snatched a late winner.

Twente's Douglas and AZ's Nick Viergever were both sent off.

Georginio Wijnaldum scored four including two penalties as struggling Feyenoord pulled off an unlikely 5-1 victory over FC Groningen.

On Saturday, Heracles Almelo routed Vitesse Arnhem 6-1.

Later Sunday, it was: NEC Nijmegen vs. FC Utrecht.
