PSV Eindhoven beat Heracles Almelo 2-0 on Sunday to share the lead in the Dutch league with FC Twente, which drew at De Graafschap 1-1.

Balazs Dzsudzsak and Marcus Berg scored for PSV.

With three rounds remaining, PSV and Twente both have 65 points with PSV enjoying a superior goal difference over the defending champion.

Willy Overtoom's missed penalty in the 75th for Heracles was decisive as PSV held on to earn a win, just three days after exiting the Europa League along with Twente.

Seeking a record 30th league crown, Ajax is third with 64 after coming from behind to beat NEC Nijmegen 2-1.

Goals from Miralem Sulejmani and Toby Alderweireld gave Ajax victory after going behind through Lasse Schone's 4th minute opener.
