Richard Dunne scored against his former club but Craig Bellamy notched a fine equaliser to earn Manchester City a 1-1 draw at Aston Villa.
Dunne had given the home side a half-time lead with his first goal since joining the club from City after outjumping former Villa midfielder Gareth Barry.
