Dundee United v St Mirren preview

United are set to welcome back striker David Goodwillie. The Scotland Under-21 man came off the bench to score the winner against Hamilton last weekend and is likely to be restored to the starting line-up. Fellow striker Jon Daly is also set to come back in following a hamstring problem. Defenders Scott Severin (ankle), Darren Dods and Mihael Kovacevic (both knee) are all ruled out while United have doubts over Danny Swanson and Craig Conway. St Mirren manager Danny Lennon has no fresh injury concerns ahead of their game against Dundee United. Craig Dargo, David Barron and Steven Robb are all edging closer to fitness but the trip to Tannadice comes too soon for them. That means Lennon could name a similar side to the one who lost to Rangers at the weekend, after his players came through the match unscathed.
