Drogba to start for Ivory Coast against Brazil

Didier Drogba will be in the starting lineup when Ivory Coast plays Brazil at the Soccer City stadium on Sunday.

Drogba broke his right arm in a warmup match on June 4 and underwent surgery before the World Cup. He had played less than half an hour as a substitute in Ivory Coast's 0-0 draw with Portugal in its opening Group G match.

The Chelsea striker is playing with a special protective cast authorized by FIFA.

Brazil retained the same starting lineup from the difficult 2-1 win over North Korea in its opening match. Kaka is in the staring lineup but coach Dunga hinted that the playmaker may be substituted again in the second half.
