Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp says he expects midfield star Mario Gotze to be fit for the all-German Champions League final against Bayern Munich on May 25 at Wembley.

Gotze will resume jogging next week and join the squad for regular practices. Klopp says ''one week of jogging and one week of training with the team is optimal.''

Gotze injured his left hamstring in the return leg of the Champions League semifinal against Real Madrid. Dortmund advanced 4-3 on aggregate.

The final in Wembley will be Gotze's last game for Dortmund, before he moves to Bayern. The 20-year-old is considered Germany's top prospect.

Bayern confirmed a £32million deal for the German midfielder last month. Borussia chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke admitted the player had not broken his contract to secure the move.

"We are obviously disappointed beyond measure, but emphasize that both Mario and his advisers have behaved within the terms of the contract," he said.

"From Bayern Munich there has been nothing official on this matter up to this date."
