Diouf: Big Sam hard to follow

Diouf returns to the Reebok Stadium alongside Allardyce as Rovers look to leapfrog their neighbours in the Premier League table on Sunday. The pair helped Wanderers finish regularly in the top eight and brought European football to the club for the first time. Now Owen Coyle has led unfancied Bolton to a fantastic start to the season which has left some fans dreaming of Europa League qualification. But Diouf, who still watches the Trotters when his side are not playing, reckons they do not have enough in the tank to replicate the success of Allardyce's team. He said: "Could they reach those heights again? No. I don't think so. "The best time Bolton had was with Sam. It's not now. "Now Bolton are winning games and people are talking about them. "But I can tell you something - the season is long and a lot of things can happen. That's why today I say I think we will catch Bolton soon. "I still keep my eyes open for them, of course, so I know what they can do."
