Baggies winger Chris Brunt has been linked with a move to Liverpool in recent weeks. Di Matteo is unlikely to make many moves himself in the transfer market next month - but he is also optimistic he can keep his current squad together. Di Matteo, speaking ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Newcastle at The Hawthorns, said: "All our players are under contract so I would not expect anyone to leave. "Of course, if they do well they will attract attention but they are happy to be here at the moment." Di Matteo is looking for his side to bounce back from their Carling Cup exit against Ipswich after making nine changes from the side which overcame Everton last weekend. He said: "We had a great result at Everton, I was very pleased with three points, but disappointed with the cup exit because we thought we had a chance of being in the semi-finals. "We have to take the good things from the Everton game into Sunday's game. "We have to look at the positives, try to look forward and try to do our best in the Premier League." Di Matteo is aware of the threat that could be posed by Andy Carroll after facing him in the Championship last season. He said: "Newcastle are a very good side, they have a lot of physical strength, quality players. "I think Carroll is a big handful. We saw him last year. He's a real threat and a big boy. "Some of our players have played against him. They will be aware of him but it is not a one man team. "They also have Shola Ameobi, Jonas Gutierrez, others who can score goals."
