Denmark winger Dennis Rommedahl is unlikely to play in the team's final Group B match against Germany because of injury.

The 33-year-old Rommedahl limped off the field in the second half of the 3-2 loss to Portugal on Wednesday with what appeared to be a left hamstring injury.

Denmark coach Morten Olsen says Thursday that the squad's most-capped player is struggling to be fit for the Germany match, which the Danes may need to win to qualify for the knockout stages.

Olsen was more optimistic about the chances of midfielder Niki Zimling, who came off injured 15 minutes into the Portugal match.
