Chelsea playmaker Deco says he wants to return to Brazilian
football and has had talks with Fluminense.
The Brazilian-born Portugal midfielder said Tuesday he wishes
to play in Brazil again and that Fluminense is a "great
possibility" even though there is "nothing concrete yet."
Deco says he talked with Fluminense officials and they
proposed "a nice project."
Although Deco still has another year on his contract with
Chelsea, he does not discard negotiations with the English club to
return to Brazil as soon as the World Cup is over.
Corinthians, where Deco started his career before moving to
Portugal, also reportedly wanted to sign the midfielder.
Fluminense is one of Rio's top clubs. It has former Brazil
striker Fred.
