Dani Alves' agent has claimed his client is set to leave Barcelona this summer with the Brazil right back yet to be offered a new contract by the Catalan giants.

The 31-year-old's current deal expires at the end of the season and with no fresh offer on the table, Alves' representatives are now starting to consider other options.

However, agent Dinorah Santana refused to comment on where Alves could be plying his trade next season.

"They (Barca) have not been in touch with us," Santana told Spanish radio station Cadena Ser.

"Hence, we interpret that Barca does not want Alves to continue so we will find another club."

Alves expected to remain with Barcelona after the summer considering the club cannot sign any players in 2015 after being banned by FIFA for breaking the rules concerning under-age player transfers.

"It's strange that they would let him leave on a free transfer," Santana added. "But if they have not said anything up to now, I believe they do not want to renew Alves' contract."

Alves, who has started 15 league games this season, joined Barca from Sevilla in 2008 and has won a string of honors including two Champions Leagues and four La Liga titles.

Barcelona are second in La Liga, one point adrift of Real Madrid, who have a game in hand.
