Cyprus FA reduces Omonia coach's ban to 4 games

The Cyprus Football Association has reduced a six-month ban it imposed on the coach of league-leading club Omonia for shoving a referee to just four games.
But a CFA appeals board upheld a ?2,000 ($2,670) fine on coach Neophytos Larkou, who it found guilty of unsportsmanlike conduct.
The CFA handed Larkou the longer ban last month after it accepted testimony from referee Christos Elia, who accused the Omonia coach of shoving him following the team's 1-1 draw at Anagennisis Dherynia in October.
The appeals board said on Saturday that shoving didn't merit a six-month ban which would have kept Larkou away the bench for the rest of the season.
But Larkou will miss Omonia's crucial match on Sunday with rival APOEL, which it leads by only two points.
