Scottish striker Lee Miller scored the only goal of the game with a close-range finish in the 63rd minute after St Mirren had struck the crossbar through a 20-yard Dougie Imrie effort at the start of the second half at Brunton Park. The Buddies face Accrington Stanley in their final scheduled friendly on Sunday before beginning their Clydesdale Bank Premier League campaign against Inverness Caledonian Thistle on August 4.
