Corinthians has dismissed speculation that the club want to bring Real Madrid playmaker Kaka back to Brazil.

Kaka has struggled to make a sustained impact at Real since his 2009 move from AC Milan and has been linked with a return to Brazil this summer.

Reports in Spain claimed that Corinthians were interested in signing the former Sao Paulo youngster, but club director Duilio Monteiro Alves has brushed off the rumors.

"There is nothing, it's just speculation," Monteiro Alves told Gazeta Press.

"I don't know where that story came from, but it didn't start at Corinthians.

"He is an excellent player, no doubt about that, but we haven't even talked about him."

Kaka's agent Tadeu Cruz also ruled out a move to Corinthians for the 31-year-old, telling Lancenet: "No chance, that's not true."
