The Welshman returned from more than a year on the sidelines when he made an appearance as a second-half substitute in Saturday's draw with Blackburn. Collison was obviously happy to be back, however, he was also disappointed that rock-bottom West Ham could only take a point against Steve Kean's strugglers. The 22-year-old said in The Sun: "It was great to be back on the pitch, but it would have been nice to get the three points we needed. "The first three months after my knee operation I was laid in bed for eight hours a day on a machine just trying to bend my leg again. "But it's not about me now. It's all about the team and keeping West Ham in the Premiership. "It's a massive task to stay up. We've talked all season about how we're good enough to get out of it and now it's time for the talking to stop."
