Saturday's Premier League visit of Aston Villa will be the first time Bent will play against his former paymasters since his exit in January. Bent was a firm fans' favourite during his time in the North East before he joined Villa in a £24million deal. Colback believes the circumstances behind Bent's transfer were unfortunate, however, he insists Sunderland have moved on since. "I think he will get stick - and he will be expecting it," commented Colback. "Personally, I thought he was great here. He was easy to get along with, the players liked him and he was a good player for the football club. "It was unfortunate how it all panned out and how it ended. "But as a club I think we've moved on since then. He has moved on, we have and we won't worry about him."
