American midfielder Ricardo Clark made his debut for Eintracht Frankfurt, playing the entire match in Saturday's 3-3 tie at Mainz.

Clark, a starter on the U.S. national team, transferred to Frankfurt in January from Major League Soccer's Houston Dynamo. He pulled a calf muscle during training and dressed for the first time on Feb. 27 but sat on the bench for eight straight matches before starting Saturday.

He had not played in a club match since Houston's final game of the playoffs on Nov. 13 and had not appeared in any games since the United States' exhibition loss at Denmark five days later.

The Atlanta native was an All-American at Furman. He played for the New York/New Jersey MetroStars and San Jose before Houston acquired him before the 2006 season.
