Chicharito headlines Mexico roster

Manchester United's Javier 'Chicharito' Hernadez and Ajaccio goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa headline Mexico's 23-man roster ahead of its upcoming CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers against regional foes Honduras and the United States later this month.
Mexican national team manager Jose Manuel de la Torre also selected La Liga standouts Giovani dos Santos and Hector Moreno in an effort to improve Mexico's form which saw the defending 2011 Gold Cup champions draw against Jamaica last February.
A total of three World Cup berths are at stake in CONCACAF's Hexagonal tournament, while a fourth 2014 spot will go to the winner of a two-game playoff between the fourth-place Hexagonal finisher and a team from the Oceania region.
Former Sporting KC striker Omar Bravo returns to Mexico's squad for the first time in nearly four years for this month's World Cup qualifiers.
"I'm grateful for the call-up, it's a true reflection of the moment we're going through at Atlas," Bravo tol Medio Tiempo.
Earlier Thursday, FIFA released its March rankings, with Mexico remaining at No. 15, and rival United States falling one place to No. 33.
Mexico faces Honduras on Mar. 22 in San Pedro Sula and will host the United States at Estadio Azteca on Mar. 26.
