The midfielder has been out of action since sustaining the knock in Portugal in the Champions League on November 23. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger had been hoping Fabregas would be fit for the clash with Premier League leaders United on Monday, December 13, but the Spain international may delay his comeback until the following Saturday when Arsenal meet Stoke at Emirates Stadium. Fabregas wants to make sure he does not rush his comeback and said at the end of last month: "I don't want to put a date on my return yet, I will take my time. "I will just try to get back whenever I can. My team-mates are helping me a lot and I am trying my best."
