Cavani wants talks with De Laurentiis

Edinson Cavani is seeking showdown talks with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis as a long-running transfer saga takes another twist.
The Uruguay international continues to be heavily linked with a summer switch away from his Serie A employers.
Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City are all believed to be readying big-money bids for the proven goalscorer.
Napoli, though, are reluctant to sell and find themselves in a position of strength as Cavani has a £54million buy-out clause in his contract.
They have no intention of lowering those demands, but know the expiration date on that clause will pass on 10th August.
De Laurentiis believes Cavani will still be in Naples at that time, but is eager for a decision to be made by the striker on his future.
He has jokingly said that he 'would smash Cavani's head in' if the situation remained up in the air when he returns to Italy on 20th July.
Cavani has been left less then amused by the comments from his club president, with the incessant rumors starting to grind him down, and he will look to discuss the matter with De Laurentiis as a matter of urgency.
He said after Uruguay's 8-0 demolition of Tahiti at the Confederations Cup: "The quotes by the president were heavy and strong. I don't like it. I want to talk to him face to face."
