Maxi Rodriguez scored a hat-trick to take his goal tally to seven in three matches, with Dirk Kuyt and Luis Suarez also on target. "We've been playing well of late, confidence is good and we've been looking forward to games. It was just one of those days for us." Kenny Dalglish's team were three goals up inside 16 minutes and Carragher said on Sky Sports 1: "We played very well, with the start and the early goals. "When you're winning everything's enjoyable. We just want to keep this run going. "The fans will be happy, it's a late night for a lot of us but we've got to look forward to keeping it going against Tottenham (at home on Sunday)." Liverpool have moved above Spurs into fifth but Carragher would not make any predictions about next season, despite the excellent run of form since Dalglish took over. Carragher, who made his 666th appearance for the visitors to move second on their all-time list, added: "Next season is a clean slate for everyone. "We hope we can take this form into next season but I won't make silly boasts or put expectations on ourselves."
