Forward Edson Buddle has returned to Germany, leaving the United States with 21 players for Tuesday night's exhibition game against Paraguay.
The 29-year-old from Westchester County in New York signed with Ingolstadt of the German second division in January after leaving Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Galaxy.
Buddle was dressed for Saturday night's 1-1 tie against Argentina in East Rutherford, N.J., but did not get in the game.
