Manchester City soccer ace Wayne Bridge is getting friendly with former Playboy centerfold Kim Kardashian after breaking up with cheating ex-girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel, sources told The Sun Friday.
Bridge, 29, bumped into the U.S. reality TV star in Miami club’s VIP area after fleeing the furor over model Perroncel’s affair with his former teammate John Terry.
The pair have been swapping texts ever since and plan to meet when Kardashian -- daughter of a millionaire lawyer -- flies to London next week.
A friend of the soccer star said: "They met while Wayne was cheering himself up on a lads' night out and got on like a house on fire.
"They exchanged texts, have been in touch ever since and will be hooking up when Kim comes to the U.K..
"It's early days but she's certainly put a smile back on Wayne's face as she's great fun and absolutely gorgeous. He's looking forward to catching up when she's in town."
Kardashian, 29, recently ended her three-year romance with American footballer Reggie Bush.
