The centre-back sustained a hamstring injury in Wednesday's goalless draw at home to Bolton and is unlikely to be fit in time. Should that be the case, Emmerson Boyce will probably replace Bramble in the starting line-up, although manager Roberto Martinez has the option of dropping midfielder Paul Scharner back into defence.
