A first-half penalty from Moemedi Moatlhaping gave an under-strength Botswana team a 1-0 win over Kenya in their international friendly on Wednesday.

Moatlhaping converted his spot-kick in the 42nd minute at the University of Botswana Stadium to keep the Zebras - who have already qualified for the 2012 African Cup of Nations - unbeaten in seven games.

Botswana became the first team to come through qualifying earlier this year to reach its first Cup of Nations tournament.

Botswana coach Stanley Tshosane said: ''I am very happy with the boys. We left four of our foreign-based players out of the side but still played well.''
