Roberto Galindo's goal in the 63rd minute earned Bolivia a 1-1 draw in a friendly international against Colombia on Wednesday.

Carlos Bacca scored in the 37th for Colombia, giving the visitors an important early lead at the high-altitude venue.

The game was played in the Bolivian capital, which is located at 3,600 meters (11,900 feet) and always presents problems for visiting players. Colombia tried to neutralize the advantage by picking players who play at high-altitude venues in Colombia or abroad.

Bolivia and Colombia each failed to qualify for the 2010 World Cup, finishing out of top five in the 10-team South American qualifying.
