Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby is likely to be available for France's upcoming European Championship qualifiers despite picking up an ankle injury against Chelsea in the Premier League.

France coach Laurent Blanc said Monday at his team's training camp that initial medical exams were ''reassuring'' and that he would handle the player carefully ahead of Saturday's match against Romania.

France, which lost its opening Euro 2012 qualifier against Belarus before securing a 2-0 win in Bosnia-Herzegovina, then hosts Luxembourg in Metz three days later.

Diaby came off the pitch with about 20 minutes remaining of Arsenal's 2-0 loss at Chelsea on Sunday.

Blanc added Lyon defender Anthony Reveillere to his squad on Monday as a replacement for right-back Bacary Sagna, who was ruled out with a left thigh injury, the French federation said in a statement.

Reveillere has played six times for France and was part of the French squad that crashed out in the group stage of the World Cup in South Africa.
