The Seasiders face a turbulent January as the fixtures come thick and fast for Ian Holloway's promoted side. The Tangerines enter 2011 on the back of another famous victory as Sunderland became the latest team to fall victim to Holloway's plucky outfit. And Evatt, who has played a key role in Blackpool's rearguard this season, realises that Holloway's squad is going to be seriously tested over the coming weeks. Attentions now turn to a New Year's Day fixture at Manchester City and the 29-year-old defender has stressed that the players who come in play in a similar manner to the Stadium of Light triumph. Evatt told the club's official website: "We've got a lot of games coming up, I think we've got six games in 14 days and the manager has stated that it's a 25-man squad and if he wants to rotate things he will do. "We can just go to Manchester City now after this result, no matter who plays, and enjoy it." Evatt admitted that Blackpool had to dig deep to come away with all three points at Sunderland but was delighted with the spirit shown. "We rode our luck at times but you have to do that away from home, especially with the calibre of players that certain teams have," he said. "We're just delighted to get the three points. "We were always going to be a bit rusty because we haven't done anything for a couple of weeks with the conditions. It was bound to take its toll but that's the quality of the boys we've got, we dig in and work hard for each other." Another pleasing aspect for the centre-back was that the victory came without the suspended Charlie Adam, highlighting that Blackpool are not a one-man team. The Englishman added: "I'm delighted for the boys. If we'd have got beat, then everyone would have said that we miss Charlie. Charlie is a fantastic player but there's 11 players out there who work hard for the team. We're certainly a team."
