Black Cats heading for Portugal

The Black Cats staged a successful training camp on the Algarve last summer, and will return in July to play three fixtures at the Estadio Municipal in Albufeira. Steve Bruce's men will face League One Brighton on Wednesday, July 21 (kick-off 9pm local time), and then relegated Hull three days later (kick-off to be confirmed). The final game will see the Wearsiders play recently-crowned Liga Sagres champions Benfica for the Albufeira Cup on Tuesday, July 27 (kick-off 9pm local time). Sunderland will head for the sun after playing a Munster XI in Limerick, Ireland on July 13 before making the short trip to Darlington four days later.
