Athletic Bilbao have confirmed that midfield ace Markel Susaeta has agreed a new five-year contract with the club.
The Basque outfit have been ruffled by the summer departure of Javi Martinez, whilst Fernando Llorente also declared he would not be signing a new contract.
But some welcome news from the San Mames has come with the announcement that winger Susaeta, who was strongly linked with Manchester United, has put pen to paper for Bilbao.
The 24-year-old has committed his future to the club until 2017 and his release clause now stands at over ?30million.
