Jill Biden and Chelsea Clinton will be part of a U.S. delegation heading to Germany this weekend to cheer on the United States in the Women's World Cup final.

The White House says the vice president's wife and Clinton, as well as the U.S. ambassador to Germany, will attend Sunday's match.

The U.S. is aiming for its third World Cup title from facing first-time finalist Japan.

The women's team catapulted itself into the U.S. spotlight with a thrilling comeback win last weekend over Brazil.

Biden, along with husband and Vice President Joe Biden, traveled to South Africa last summer to attend the World Cup. But the vice president will have to miss the women's tournament in order to stay in Washington for negotiations on the nation's debt.
