Real Betis says striker Ruben Castro will be out 10 days with an ankle sprain.
The Spanish club says that the 30-year-old player injured his ankle in Saturday's win over Mallorca.
Castro has scored two late winners in as many weeks to give Betis a share of first place in the Spanish league along with Real Madrid and Valencia.
Betis visits winless Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.
