AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi says coach Leonardo is leaving the
club at the end of the season.
The Italian prime minister told Thursday's Corriere dello
Sport that "yes he is going."
He added that "Leo was too stubborn and the team played
badly. However, he is a good person and a good coach."
Leonardo took the post in 2009, and had a rough start both in
the league and Champions League. However, the team steadily
improved and was challenging Inter Milan for the Serie A title
until falling behind in March.
Milan reached the first knockout round of the Champions
League, but lost 7-2 on aggregate to Manchester United.
