The Denmark international has already missed a sizeable chunk of the season following groin surgery. He returned at the turn of the year but suffered a twisted ankle in the win over West Ham last weekend and now doubts he will be involved against Birmingham. "At half-time (against West Ham) I said to Arsene Wenger that I probably couldn't play the whole game," he said. "I hope to resume training on Thursday or Friday - that would put me in the frame for Birmingham but I'm not confident I will progress so rapidly."
