Been's going nowhere - Beenhakker

Been's position was called into question after Feyenoord suffered a record 10-0 defeat at the hands of PSV Eindhoven on Sunday, with the players failing to respond to Been's plea for support in the dressing room after the game. But Beenhakker said that he and everyone else at the club is behind Been. "His position is totally not in question," Beenhakker said. "I say this on behalf of the board and on behalf of everyone else at the club. "We are absolutely not going to make changes to our technical staff. They do great work in every area. That does not mean we can allow what happened in Eindhoven. But that has happened now. "Now we focus on VVV Venlo. That is the best remedy for a defeat." While the players stayed silent in the dressing room immediately after the game, Feyenoord general manager Eric Gudde said they had sent several messages of support to Been later in the evening. "Mario has had enough text messages from last night to know he has the confidence of the players. "I am not really mad at the players for not expressing that in the locker room in Eindhoven. "Sometimes after such a debacle you need time to yourself. "And players do not want to speak out so fast in a group conversation in the locker room."
