David Beckham is back home in California after surgery on his injured Achilles' tendon.
Beckham was spotted on crutches while attending a practice with the Los Angeles Galaxy on Tuesday. He also was seen out in Los Angeles later in the week.
Beckham and his wife, Victoria, kept their children in school in California while he played in Italy.
The 34-year-old midfielder ruptured his tendon playing for Italian club AC Milan this month. He underwent surgery in Finland last week, and is expected to be sidelined about six months, perhaps forcing him to miss the entire MLS season.

Los Angeles opens the regular season Saturday night against the New England Revolution. The Galaxy reached the MLS Cup final last year.
