The striker's future has been the subject of intense speculation ever since his much-publicised bust-up with boss Tony Pulis last season. The likes of West Brom, Wolves, Wigan, Blackburn and Sheffield United have all been credited with an interest in Beattie, but the 32-year-old is ready to fight for his place at Stoke and insists he has no problem with Pulis. "Whatever happened between me and the manager has all been swept under the carpet now, it's history, we've moved on," Beattie told the Daily Mail. "I have heard all the reports of interest from Blackburn, Wolves, Wigan and Sheffield United but I want to stay at Stoke and I am happy to stay. "I know there has been interest from Championship clubs but, while I'm flattered, I want to play in the Premier League. I last played in the Championship two years ago and I don't really want to go back. "The Premier League is what it's all about and I'm confident I can still ply my trade there - and with Stoke. "Pre-season has gone well so far and I have figured in the games so the manager has certainly made me part of his plans. "I'm working hard, I feel great and I definitely want to be part of the team for the first game of the season against Wolves."
