Bayern Munich says it is not looking for a new striker to replace the injured Ivica Olic.

Club chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said Wednesday that ''the board, sporting director and coach are certain that we, with our current squad, can reach the targets for this season.''

Coach Jupp Heynckes said he had ''complete confidence in our existing squad players'' and that Bayern's medical department was ''confident that Olic will return to the team in the foreseeable future.''

Olic is out for six to eight weeks with a hip injury, leaving Bayern with only two healthy strikers.
