Bayern in Champions League semifinals despite Benfica draw

LISBON, Portugal (AP) Bayern Munich advanced to the semifinals of the Champions League despite being held to a 2-2 draw at Benfica on Wednesday.
The draw in the return leg of their quarterfinal meant Bayern went through 3-2 aggregate. It's the fifth time running that the German club has made it through to the semifinals.
Raul Jimenez's 27th-minute goal had put Benfica level over the two legs before Arturo Vidal scored for Bayern in the 38th. Thomas Mueller made it 2-1 for the Bundesliga club on the night in the 52nd. Talisca scored Benfica's second with a curling free kick in the 76th.
The result kept alive coach Pep Guardiola's hopes of repeating Bayern's feat of winning the Champions League, Bundesliga and German Cup three years ago under Jupp Heynckes.
