Bayern Munich has extended the contract of midfielder Toni Kroos until 2015.
The 21-year-old Germany international has agreed a three-year extension to his contract, that was originally set to expire in 2012.
Bayern says the extension is ''another step'' in building for the future.
Bayern's coach Louis van Gaal is leaving at the end of the season and will be replaced by Jupp Heynckes. Heynckes coached Kroos when he was on loan to Bayer Leverkusen during 2009 and 2010.
