Barton completed his free transfer to QPR on Friday after a bitter end to an otherwise successful spell at Newcastle. Barton's last game for the Magpies was a 1-0 success over Sunderland, and the midfielder has hinted the Black Cats were one of the many clubs queuing up for his signature. "There were other clubs interested in me but it would not be prudent to name names as I am not going to air everybody's dirty laundry," Barton told The People. "Some of them I could do and some I could not. If I had gone there I would probably have been lynched."
