The 36-year-old accepts that he cannot expect to win his place back from the up-and-coming talent. "I had a conversation with our technical director Carlos Aalbers," he said. "NEC want Jasper and I was not surprised. "That boy has everything is takes to be a great keeper. "I feel awfully fit. I have 485 games in professional football behind me and I will definitely get to 500. That will not happen with NEC and that is why I will leave."
