Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has signed a new contract with the club for an unspecified amount of time.

The Czech international spent about 18 months on the sidelines with injuries over the previous two seasons, missing the entire 2008-2009 campaign.

The 29-year-old Rosicky has made 15 appearances in all competitions this season and scored one goal. He said Monday that he wants to repay the faith manager Arsene Wenger has had in him.

Rosicky has made 76 appearances overall for the Gunners, scoring 14 goals, and has played 69 times for the Czech Republic. He signed with Arsenal in 2006 from Borussia Dortmund.
