Quilmes secured their first point of the Argentina Clausura season with a 1-1 draw against Independiente on Saturday.

Elsewhere, River Plate missed a chance to move within a point of the lead by drawing 1-1 with Arsenal. Godoy Cruz defeated Lanus 2-0, and Colon beat All Boys 2-0.

Clausura leader Racing, with 12 points, plays against Estudiantes on Sunday.

Facundo Parra gave Independiente a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute but Juan Jose Morales equalized in the 67th. Independiente has six points in six matches.

River Plate took a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute when Jonathan Maidana scored from a 10-meter header off a perfectly placed corner. Arsenal equalized three minutes later as Ivan Obolo chipped a right-footed shot into the net.

River Plate had two shots from close-in in the final seconds, but failed to convert. The draw left River with nine points in six matches. Arsenal has eight.

Godoy Cruz jumped to 10 points by beating Lanus. Nicolas Olmedo scored in the 37th and the victory was sealed when Lanus' Santiago Hoyos scored an own-goal in the 68th.

Colon also improved to 10 points with the win over All Boys. Federico Higuain scored in the 19th for Colon and Ivan Moreno y Fabianesi added the second in the second half.

The top teams in Argentina play Sunday.

Racing, which leads with 12 points from five matches, faces Estudiantes; San Lorenzo plays at Velez; Olimpo is at Boca Juniors.

Boca has only four points and is likely to start Juan Roman Riquelme in midfield. Riquelme has missed the last four games with injuries.

In Sunday's other match it's Newell's vs. Argentinos Juniors.

On Monday Banfield faces Huracan and Gimnasia plays Tigre to complete the sixth round.
