David Beckham says his World Cup highlight was scoring a game-winning penalty against Argentina four years after a red card against them made him the most unpopular player in England.
Beckham's kick in a 1-0 victory in Japan in 2002 went a long way to putting England through to the final 16 and knocking out Argentina.
Four years previously, he was sent off for kicking Diego Simeone and England, down to 10 men for 73 minutes, went out on penalties after a 2-2 draw.
Beckham said it was always special to beat main rivals and to score the winning goal against them four years after the red card was ``extremely special.''
