Argentina and Ecuador drew 2-2 on Wednesday in a friendly match in which both teams used largely second-string players in a warm-up for the upcoming Copa America.
Michael Quinonez opened the scoring for Ecuador in the 26th minute. Claudio Yacob equalized for Argentina in the 32nd and Gabriel Hauche made it 2-1 for Argentina three minutes later. Segundo Castillo scored the equalizer for Ecuador withn a penalty.
The continental championship, the Copa America, opens on July 1 in Argentina.
