Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti is unsure whether he wants to stay with the club for next season and will make his decision only after the French league campaign has ended.

PSG has a healthy lead over second-place Marseille with just five matches remaining in the title race, and is fast closing in on its first title since 1994.

But the team has also been very inconsistent, going out of both domestic cups in the quarterfinals, and Ancelotti has reproached the attitude of his players several times this season.

''I want to finish the league first before making a decision. We will talk together afterward to see what the opportunities are,'' Ancelotti said ahead of Sunday's home match against Valenciennes. ''I haven't spoken (to the directors) yet. There will be time to do that once the title has been won. Anything can happen, that I stay or that I go. You have to take into consideration the fact I am under contract.''

Ancelotti's contract ends in June but he gets another year added on automatically if PSG qualify for an automatic Champions League spot.

Speculation in the French media in recent days has been linking him with a move to Real Madrid next season, if Jose Mourinho leaves the Spanish club.

''The press has spoken about Real, but first of all I have to be straight with the club I'm working for,'' Ancelotti said. ''I can't control what's happening elsewhere.''

Ancelotti added he addressed the issue of his future with the players at Friday's training.

"I have a contract, therefore my hands are tied, as I have to take into account I am contracted till June 2014.

"I spoke to the players yesterday (Friday) because of all the rumors, but there is no hard news. I already told them before: I want to finish the championship as agreed with the club and we will speak afterwards so we can come to a decision."
