Americans still searching for a club

Two months ago, U.S. national team defender Jay DeMerit was playing in the World Cup against England and helping shut down the vaunted English attack.
BEASLEY PONDERS GERMAN MOVE
U.S. national team midfielder DaMarcus Beasley is another American in club limbo, but a move to German club Hannover appears a possibility.
German publication Bild is reporting that Hannover 96 is in talks with Beasley, who could be a replacement for injured midfielder Carlitos. Hannover has a history of signings Americans, with World Cup defender Steve Cherundolo serving as the team’s captain and winger Sal Zizzo having been with the club before signing with MLS.
Beasley was released by Scottish club Rangers last spring and has been weighing offers from clubs in the Netherlands and England. He is another player who seems like a good fit to return to MLS, but at 28, Beasley is intent on staying in Europe for now.
