Alonso back for Spain in WCup match vs. Portugal

Spain midfielder Xabi Alonso has recovered from a right ankle sprain and will start in the round of 16 match against Portugal at the World Cup.
Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has selected the same starting team that beat Chile 2-1 in the last group game. Fernando Torres and David Villa lead the European champion's attack.
Portugal coach Carlos Queiroz left Deco on the bench for Tuesday's match at Green Point Stadium, with the attacking midfielder having missed the last two games due to a right hip injury.
Cristiano Ronaldo leads a Portuguese lineup that features only two changes from the 0-0 draw against Brazil, with midfielder Duda out to injury and Danny on the bench after hurting himself in training.
Pepe remains in the lineup while Simao Sabrosa returns after being used as a substitute against Brazil.
Del Bosque stayed with Alonso and Sergio Busquets as holding midfielders alongside Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta.
